If I had friends in Indonesia and If I had experience of Jakarta, no doubt I'd feel about it like do about Paris. But I don't so a terrorist attack there has a different emotional effect.
The point is whether the reaction is based on an authentic emotion or one expressed to gain a particular effect, such as creating a culture of Islamophobia. Or to make, pointless snide remarks on a football forum for the matter.

I just Googled that. I think in order to undermine an Islamist insurgency the national government allowed one small region on one island (Aceh) autonomy to implement their interpretation of "sharia". It's like Scotland as part of the UK... I mean it has its own government that decides on certain laws whilst remaining part of the overall state of Indonesia.

Indonesia is one of the more tolerant Islamic countries, as such, they are fairly mild in their persecution of non-Muslims and the death toll of those in minority faiths is smaller than lots of other places.
As for Polite's point, I think he's right. An Oriental Muslim getting blown up in Jakarta is as much as tragedy as a French non Muslim getting killed in Paris.

Nothing to do with Sunni Shia.
Just the government is sane and democratic and therefore an enemy of Daeesh. In eyes of Daeesh they are probably worse than "the West" because they are Muslims but don't support Daeesh.
